The transition from Grade 8 to the first year of secondary school is significant. There’s much more material, new and different subjects, different teachers, and students become ‘the youngest in school.’ As a first-year student, a lot comes at you that you’re not always fully prepared for. . To make the transition smoother, we offer this training both at schools and at our own locations in Amstelveen and Haarlem. How the Learning-to-Learn Training Works
for Grade 8 students
In deze cursus krijgt de leerling aan de hand van lesstof van de middelbare school inzicht in de verschillende leermethodes en studievaardigheden. Daarnaast kunnen ze zich kosteloos aanmelden voor 2 huiswerkmiddagen bij de opstart van de brugklas.
– Planning & Organizing: Learn how to keep track of homework, tests, and projects.
– Active Learning: Make better use of your memory through active learning techniques.
– Summarizing & Structuring: Extract the core from texts and learn to see connections.
– Concentration & Motivation: Manage distractions, overcome test anxiety, and work with achievable goals.
Using our StudiBuddy Bundle, students learn how to plan effectively. They receive this bundle in advance so they can start using it from the very beginning of secondary school.
